Details first: tonight, Butler Winter Ball, Acoustic tent, 11:30pm-midnight - I'll be playing an acoustic set.
That last part may not surprise you given the venue.
If you're at the Butler Ball tonight then please come over and say hi, as well as checking out the earlier acts. I'm on last, and I'll be trying to appease drunken people with a mixture of covers and original material, plus the debut of a brand new song (LOLWUT) just to prove I haven't sat at uni for a term and wasted all on my time on trivial stuff like, y'know, my degree.
Hopefully I'll see a few of you there - come and tap your feet and shuffle the night awkwardly away. I dare you.

PS: my voice is knackered but I'm not using that as an excuse. Far from it. It's like having an overdrive pedal for the voicebox. In fact I think the huskiness makes me sound sexier. Only one way for y'all to prove me wrong on that one, and that's by listening... ;)

A Long Overdue Update...
Hello and FINALLY welcome to a working blog!
I was having real problems with the one embedded in my site (it was naff and not very user-friendly) so I'm switching to this one instead, but it's all directly linked back to my homepage.
I've been busy in my first term of uni, but don't let that give you the impression that I haven't found some time to get music in - I've managed to get a few rough-and-ready open mic sessions in, flog a few CDs, all the usual jazz/rock.
Speaking of CDs, the first bit of news is that 'The Lovers & The Losers' is £1.50 for a three week period if you get it off of my web store - £1 from every sale still goes to 'a LIFE for a CURE' and the discount isn't going to last forever so get going if you haven't already! :P
Which brings me onto my next bit of news. I'm going to be getting 2 or 3 of my favourite tracks off of the album remixed and mastered (possibly with slight re-records in places) over the Christmas hols, but spending way more time on each to get the quality sounding even more polished. I'm also going to lay down (with any luck) some of the new material I've been working on these past couple of months, and release a 7-8 track EP...
...for free.
Yes, if all goes according to plan then there could be a new release by mid-late January of 2011. On top of this I'm going to be shooting at least one music video over the Christmas break so it's all pretty hectic and exciting!
I don't want to make this overly long so I'll finish by saying, thanks for listening thus far - loads of you have been awesome sharing my music with others, as always you can hear it for free on my website and on Spotify but an especially huge thank you to those of you who have bought copies of the CD for yourself and for others :)
